It is trendy to have business website, and trendier to have social media presence. Many small business owners when creating the website or establishing socialmedia presence try to do their best, but often complaint for not getting traffic on to their websites and social media. This blog will help them understand the basics they should watch before building a website or entering into social media. But before we go in that direction, let me talk about the ground realities:

A survey was conducted by SiteKreator explains that only 54% of small businesses update their websites less than 5 times a month. This includes content changes, adding applications, photos, news items, promotions, etc. Visitors often find outdated information on such websites. The survey revealed that small businesses that update website more than five times per month have +300% more website traffic than those who do not.

Key Interview Tips for Job Seekers

I get emails and calls from youngsters waiting to enter the job market. Some of them are known through social media or other meet-ups, and also some who are referred through contacts. Most of them are MBAs – but even with such a degree, finding a job is becoming challenging.

I usually call people to meet in person. My focus has always been to help them learn the basics such as resume writing and exploring the hidden job market and when searching for job. One has to remember that although the economy is not doing great and job market competition is stiff, there are companies hiring new employees.

During the course of several years of voluntary work, I felt that a number of candidates get a job interview, but due to lack of preparation, they are unsuccessful!
